Method: Event-driven 14-bar breakout entries (price > 14d high + 1% with volume confirmation), gated by a 7-signal regime detector (trend, momentum, volatility, drawdown, EMA slope, market breadth). Per-trade hard stop at -4%, 8% trailing stop, take-profit at 3R then trail to lock gains. 21-bar time stop. Positions are long by default; in bear regimes the crypto engine can also take short positions.
Source: Re-run 2026-05-28 on extended 2020-01-01 → 2026-05-26 window via AutoCoin's canonical replication harness. Window captures COVID crash, 2020-21 bull, Terra/Luna, FTX, 3AC, 2023-24 AI rally, and 2025-26 chop. Six and a half years of every regime, with the strategy unchanged throughout.

Universe: Same 8 coins as Nemesis Crypto, bought and sold spot on Kraken US at 1× (no leverage, no borrowing, long-only; US-compliant)
Method: Identical 14-bar breakout entries and regime detector to Nemesis Crypto Futures, run at 1× total exposure as plain spot orders: long-only, no margin, no borrowing, cash in bear regimes. Cost model: 31 bps per side on traded notional (26 bps taker fee plus 5 bps slippage); there is no financing cost because nothing is borrowed.
Source: Re-run 2026-10-14 at 1× spot using the same strategy code, regime detector and daily closes as the earlier study, which this run reproduced to the dollar before leverage was set to 1×. Window 2020-01-01 → 2026-05-26, $10K start, daily closes, fills at the close, 250-day indicator warmup held in cash. CAGR, Sharpe (daily returns annualized at √252) and drawdown are measured from the 2019-01-01 data start, so they include the warmup period in cash. The previous 5× spot-margin figures were retired because Kraken US retail accounts cannot open margin positions. Simulated on historical data, not live performance.

L1/L2 group: AVAX, MATIC, DOT, ATOM, NEAR, ARB, OP, SUI, INJ, TIA, SEI, APT, ICP, FTM. DeFi blue-chips: LINK, AAVE, UNI, LDO, MKR, CRV, SNX, PENDLE, JUP. Infrastructure: IMX, FIL, GRT, RNDR, ALGO, EGLD.
Method: Same V5d architecture as Dionysus but tuned for the alt cycle. Every 3 days: (1) 21-day sector regime check - if universe-wide median momentum is negative, flatten to cash; (2) rank all 29 alts by 14d return, take top 2 (more concentrated than Dionysus's top 3 since alts are less wild); (3) inverse-volatility weighting; (4) 3× leverage with adaptive halving to 1.5× when portfolio drawdown exceeds 30%; (5) -20% per-position trailing stop. The top-2 concentration is the key tuning - top-3 underperformed top-2 by ~110 percentage points of CAGR in the sweep.
